Ingredients
5lbscooked meatballs,frozen, thawed
28ozketchup,(1 bottle)
18ozapple jelly,(1 jar)
12ozred currant jelly,(1 jar)
¼tsphot sauce
Preparation
Fill a large pot with lightly salted water, and bring to a boil.
Cook the meatballs, working in batches if necessary, in the boiling water for about 3 minutes, until they begin floating on top and are heated through.
Remove the meatballs with a slotted spoon, drain in a strainer, and transfer to a large saucepan.
Combine the ketchup, apple jelly, red currant jelly, and hot sauce in a separate large saucepan.
Cook and stir over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes, until the jelly is dissolved and the sauce is heated through.
Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
Simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until the meatballs and sauce are thoroughly heated.
