Ingredients

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

1½ cups granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla

3 eggs

1 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp ground cinnamon

8 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

¼ cup walnuts, chopped

1 cup pineapple, crushed and drained

1 cup pineapple chunks

Preparation

Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla together.

Beat in the eggs.

Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cocoa powder.

Gradually add the creamed mixture into the flour mixture and mix thoroughly.

Stir in the nuts and pineapple.

Place a circular parchment paper on the bottom of the spring pan.

Put pineapple chunks at the bottom then pour the mixture and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until center tests are done.

Cool then serve. You may drizzle with chocolate syrup on top.
