Ingredients
14.5oztomato sauce,(1 can)
3tbsptomato paste
1garlic clove,finely minced
1tbspfresh basil,chopped, or 1 teaspoon dried basil
2tspdried oregano
1tsponion powder
½tspdried marjoram
½tspkosher salt
pinchcayenne
red wine,optional
Preparation
Combine the tomato sauce and paste, garlic, basil, oregano, onion powder, marjoram, salt, cayenne, and red wine in a small saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until bubbles begin to rise at the surface. Reduce the heat, cover, and let simmer for another 15 minutes.
Serve warm over pizza or as a dip, and enjoy!
