Ingredients

1lbbeef,ground

½cuplong grain rice,cooked

¼cuponion,diced

½tspgarlic powder

2tbspparsley,fresh

1tbspWorcestershire sauce

1egg

10ozcondensed tomato soup,(1 can), undiluted

1cupvegetable juice,such as V8

1cuptomato sauce

½tspgarlic powder

½tspItalian seasoning

salt and pepper,to taste

parsley,chopped, for garnish

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, rice, onion, garlic powder, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Shape the mixture into approximately 20 balls. Place in a baking dish, approximately 2 quarts.

Combine all ingredients for the sauce and pour over meatballs.

Bake uncovered for 1 hour. Garnish with parsley, salt, and pepper. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
