Ingredients

½cupruby port

3striporange zest

½cupfresh orange juice

12ozfresh cranberries

¾cupsugar

Preparation

In a medium saucepan, combine the port with the orange zest and orange juice and bring to a boil.

Add the cranberries and sugar and simmer over moderately low heat for about 25 minutes until the sauce is jam-like.

Transfer to a bowl and serve warm or at room temperature.
