Ingredients

½cupolive oil

½cupvegetable oil

3tbsplemon juice

½tbspwhite vinegar,distilled

¾tspsalt

2garlic cloves,minced

1tbspbutter

½cupalmonds,sliced

3romaine hearts,chopped into bite size pieces

1cupblue cheese,crumbled

1cupromano cheese,grated

Preparation

Mix the olive oil, vegetable oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and garlic in a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the almonds for 5 minutes, until lightly browned.

In a large bowl, toss the toasted almonds, lettuce, blue cheese, and Romano cheese. Pour in the dressing, and toss to coat.
