Ingredients
2ahi tuna steaks
1cupsoy sauce
2tspchilli flakes
vegetable oil
1mango
½red bell pepper
½onion
1green onionchopped
1fresh cilantrohandful, chopped
1jalapeno pepperseeded and minced
2tbsplime juice
1 ½tspolive oil
saltto taste
1avocadolarge
1tspwasabi
½limejuiced
2tbspsour cream
1tspsesame oil
Preparation
In a bowl, add the ahi tuna steaks, then cover with soy sauce, and chili flakes.
Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Dice the mango, bell pepper, and onion.
Combine them all in a bowl then mix well. Salt to taste.
Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour at the same time as the tuna steaks.
Blend the avocado, wasabi, lime, sour cream, and sesame oil in a food processor until smooth. Alternatively, mash with a fork.
Take tuna out of the marinade then pat dry with paper towels.
Spray the marinated tuna steaks with vegetable oil.
Heat a cast-iron pan and sear tuna steaks for 2 minutes per side for medium or 4 minutes per side for well-done.
Spoon wasabi-avocado cream and mango salsa on the plate then lay the tuna steak on top.
Serve, and enjoy!
