Ingredients

1graham cracker crust,(9-inch)

3eggs,separated

14ozsweetened condensed milk

1tsplime zest,grated

⅓cupfresh lime juice

1cupfrozen whipped topping,thawed

Preparation

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

In a large glass or metal bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, beat egg yolks, then stir in condensed milk, lime rind, and lime juice.

Mix well, then fold mixture into beaten egg whites. Pour mixture into graham cracker crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Let cool and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Garnish with whipped topping if desired.
