Ingredients

2lbground turkey,lean
1red onion,medium, or yellow onion, peeled and diced
4garlic cloves,minced
15oztomato sauce
14oztomatoes,diced
15ozblack beans,rinsed and drained
15ozdark red kidney beans,rinsed and drained
15ozlight red kidney beans,rinsed and drained
15ozwhole kernel corn,drained
4ozOld El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles
1cupbeer,or chicken broth
¼cupOld El Paso™ Taco Seasoning
1tbspchili powder
1tspground cumin
1tspsalt
1tspsugar
½tspblack pepper
cheddar cheese,shredded, crushed tortilla chips or strips, thinly-sliced green onions, sour cream, salsa, etc., optional toppings
Preparation
Heat the oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.
Add the ground turkey, then sauté for 6 to 8 minutes until completely browned, using a spoon to stir and break up the meet as it cooks.
Drain the cooked turkey of any excess liquid, then transfer the turkey to the pot of a slow cooker.
Add the onion, garlic, tomato, tomato sauce, beans, corn, chiles, beer, taco seasoning, chili powder, cumin, salt, sugar, and black pepper and stir to combine.
Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours, or on High for 3 to 4 hours, until the soup is cooked through.
Serve warm, garnished with cheddar cheese and other toppings, and enjoy!
