Ingredients

½cupbarbecue sauce

¼cupapple butter

2tbspbrown sugar

1tbspground black pepper

2garlic clovesminced

4ozpork chops

Preparation

Whisk the barbecue sauce, apple butter, brown sugar, black pepper, and garlic together in a microwave-safe bowl.

Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, until sugar dissolves. Stir until the sauce is smooth.

Place the pork chops on a plate, then pour the sauce over the chops.

Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, then lightly oil the grate.

Cook the pork chops on grill for 15 minutes, until cooked through. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
