Ingredients

2cupcranberries

¼cupsugar

½cupwater

¼cuplemon juice

2tbspfresh ginger juice

1bottlesparkling apple cider

Preparation

In a small saucepan, bring cranberries, sugar, and water to a simmer. Cook over low heat until liquid is the consistency of maple syrup. Remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh sieve; reserve syrup and cranberry mixture. Cool.

Combine cooled cranberry syrup, lemon juice, and ginger juice. In a champagne flute, add 2 tablespoons cranberry mixture. Top with sparkling cider and garnish with a lemon twist.
