Ingredients
3cupsbroccoli florets,trimmed and washed
1½cupswater
salt pepper and butter,for serving, optional
Preparation
Place a steam basket or colander into a large saucepan.
Add broccoli and enough water to cover the bottom of the saucepan.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
Cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until broccoli is tender-crisp when pierced with a fork.
Serve and enjoy!
