Ingredients
3tbspbutter
1onion,chopped
4bacon slices,thick-cut, diced
1green cabbage head,cut into chunks
salt and ground black pepper,to taste
1cupheavy whipping cream
Preparation
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sauté the onion and bacon in the hot butter for 5 to 7 minutes until the bacon is browned and crisped.
Stir the cabbage into the bacon mixture, then season with salt and black pepper.
Pour cream over cabbage mixture and stir; bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to low, and cover the skillet with a lid.
Cook for about 5 to 10 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
Serve warm, and enjoy!
