Ingredients

1cupwater

3tbspcornstarch

2½cupsfrozen strawberriesthawed and cut into bite-sized pieces

¾cupwhite sugar

Preparation

Whisk the water and cornstarch together in a large saucepan.

Stir the strawberries and sugar into the water.

Cook the strawberry mixture over medium heat for 10 minutes until thick.

Allow to cool completely.

Serve over cakes, and enjoy!
