Ingredients

8biscuits,or 1 can biscuit dough

1cupstrawberry,quartered

2cupsstrawberry,finely diced

½cupsugar

2eggs

½cupmilk

½cupmaple syrup

1tspvanilla extract

½tspcinnamon

whipped cream

Preparation

Preheat the oven 350 degrees F. Slice each biscuit into 8 pieces and place in a greased baking dish.

In a saucepan on medium heat, combine the strawberry and sugar, then cook until it reaches a boil.

Reduce the heat to a simmer and continue to cook until the filling reaches a smooth consistency. Remove from heat and set aside.

Combine the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a large bowl until well-incorporated.

Place the biscuits in a greased baking dish, then spread the egg mixture evenly on top. Top with the strawberry filling and the fresh quartered strawberries.

Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown.

Slice and serve with whipped cream. Enjoy!
