Ingredients
5 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Mix together the flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Cream the butter and sugars together.
Add the eggs and beat until fluffy. Add the oil and vanilla. Beat, then beat in the flour mixture.
Chill overnight. Roll in balls. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
