Ingredients

2medium broccoli heads

salt

¼cupextra-virgin olive oil,plus 3 tbsp

2garlic cloves

freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli and cook for about 2 minutes just until bright green. Drain, shaking off any excess water.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet until shimmering. Add the garlic and cook over moderately high heat for about 1 minute, until fragrant, but not browned.

Add the broccoli and cook, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes, until crisp-tender. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve warm, and enjoy!
