Ingredients
1cupbutter,(2 sticks)
1cupwater
2cupsall purpose flour
2cupswhite granulated sugar
2large eggs,beaten
½cupsour cream
1tspalmond extract
1tspbaking soda
1tspsalt
½cupbutter,(1 stick)
¼cupmilk
4½cupsconfectioners’ sugar
½tspalmond extract
Preparation
In a medium saucepan, bring the butter and water to a boil.
In a large bowl, add flour and sugar, then mix. Then, add in eggs, sour cream, almond extract, baking soda and salt.
Slowly pour in the boiling butter/water mixture. Stir with a spatula until well combined and smooth.
Pour into a greased 15×10-x1-inch baking sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool for about 20 minutes.
In a large saucepan, combine the butter and milk. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat, and then stir in sugar and extract.
Stir until smooth and all combined. Spread over warm cake.
Decorate cake with sprinkles, serve, and enjoy!
