Ingredients
1½lbshrimp,peeled, de-veined
2cupsbroccoli florets
1red bell pepper,sliced
½cupmushrooms,sliced, steamed or boiled until just tender
2tspgarlic,minced
⅓cupsoy sauce
3tbspbrown sugar
4tbsprice vinegar
1tspSriracha,to taste
½tspsesame oil
½cupchicken broth,or vegetable broth, or water
1tbspcorn starch
1cupcrispy wonton strips
½tspred pepper flakes,crushed
2green onions,chopped
Preparation
Stir together the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vegan, sriracha, sesame oil, chicken broth, and corn starch, then whisk until corn the starch is dissolved. Set aside.
Add the shrimp, broccoli, red bell peppers, mushrooms, and garlic to a large greased pan and sauté over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes until the shrimp is cooked through, mushrooms are tender, and garlic is fragrant.
Add the sauce mixture and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
Sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes, green onions, and wonton strips on top.
