Ingredients
1cupwater
1cupchicken broth
2tbsplemon juice,freshly squeezed
2tspbutter
1cuplong grain rice,uncooked
¼tspdried basil
¼tsplemon zest
1¼tsplemon pepper seasonings
Preparation
In a saucepan on high heat, add all ingredients, except lemon pepper, and stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
Sprinkle with lemon pepper before serving.
